Too many people in the U.S. dismiss their obligation to vote. There are people in the world who have given their lives for the right to vote, yet many Americans will "forget" or decide it's too much hassle. That is SO pathetic. Even if you go to vote just for one race or one ballot measure--at least your voice was heard! If you don't vote, then don't complain or criticize your local, state or national elected officials. You don't have any leg to stand on! Go vote!

Musical Monday #8
I rarely write about politics or world affairs here. But tomorrow is Election Day, and I couldn't think of a better song for Musical Monday than Alice Cooper's "Elected". This election has major implications on the national scene, with party conrol of both houses of Congress hanging in the balance. Moreso than it's been in years. As the pretty lady in the header says, "Vote like it matters - then maybe it will!"
