- I don't have to come up with some sort of romantic offering for anyone.
- I don't have to succumb to the crass commercialization that is almost approaching Christmas and Easter proportions.
- I don't have to watch a weekend of romance comedies on TV.
- I don't have to hustle to get the half-priced chocolates next week, thanks to my disease.
All sorts of excitement around here sometime this week. And you should all be jealous. No details right now, but there's a 99% probability that I'll get to meet #49 on my list over there in the sidebar in a few days! I promise it will be well documented!
Remember Vixen's post in July recounting her weekend at Roxy's with the OsShirt? She didn't get into much detail, and the pictures were small, and in a collage. Stop by the OsShirt site to see better pics, and get the real story of the weekend!
After getting dumped with a ton of snow last weekend, most of it has already disappeared. Thanks to temps that hit 60° on Saturday, and strong (really strong, house-shaking) winds through the night and into Sunday. Spring is just around the corner!!
And because it's one of the great love songs of all time...a couple of versions of "My Funny Valentine". Enjoy!

I have no particular problem with Valentine's Day either and have posted VDay smut.. but I do mind the commercialism. SO, I've been cheering myself up with these hilarious, free cards!
Happy Valentine's Day!

I have a different opinion I suppose, once you have kids and there are far and few special moments alone with your signifcant other I love that there is a holiday to be able to show that person how much they mean.
I do agree that companies take advantage of this holiday. :(
Happy Valentine's Day! I miss you ...
Happy Valentines Day...I will eat some chocolate for you ;)
I love that song :) Valentine's Day is only what you make of it, if you want to use it to be romantic then go for it, otherwise it's just another day!
Happy Valentine's Day to you, Sir. :)
I was wondering if the Michelle Pfeiffer version was going to show up here. Happy Valentine's Day.
I'm very intrigued about your number forty-nine will be.
Happy valentines day!!

Nice take on V-Day, Os.
Yay I made the Os shirt site! *grins*

Ella's version is spectacular.... Can't beat her voice.
Now that the day is well and truly behind us, I can appreciate roses and crooning... Happy Valentine's Day, Os. xx
(I adore Ella's version but also go back to Chet Baker's when I'm in the mood for his gritty vocals and West Coast trumpeting...)
